R + A Design is a studio dedicated to the early stages of architecture—where ideas form, evolve, and take root. We work with those who believe that every project deserves a careful start, shaped by research, questions, dialogue, and intent.

Founded on over two decades of experience in architecture and its adjacent disciplines,
R + A Design operates as a studio for conceptual architecture. We craft thoughtful beginnings—for clients who believe that the strength of a project lies in its foundation.

We take on no more than three projects a year. This allows us to collaborate closely, one to one, listen deeply, work slowly, and remain present in every step of the process. Our output is not predefined, it is the result of a rigorous, tailored inquiry that leads to singular outcomes.
